Joining the long — and increasingly tiresome — queue of homage to grindhouse is the spectacularly titled Bring Me the Head of the Machine Gun Woman. Told via Grand Theft Auto structure, it bravely attempts to bring something new to the table, but is slightly more exciting a concept than completed feature; despite a run-time of just 74 minutes, steam does not last sufficiently to end credits, the titular woman not particularly fearsome past the first few minutes.

That is not to say that there is no fun to be had here. Cramming in every bit of exploitation style it can into the first 10 minutes alone, humour splats out of the screen, and it is clear a riot was had by the filmmakers.
